Every situation is different. But by following the five stages below, we can make sure we carry out the right works to achieve the results you’re looking for.

We’ll complete a full site survey.

We’ll always start the process with a site survey. We can only understand your unique situation and advise you on the best fire stopping products for your building once we have visited your premises and identified the areas that need to be addressed.

We partner with Hilti, and we will use their Firestop Documentation Manager system to record all our observations and product recommendations as we are making our way around the premises. If possible, we ask that you provide us with a floorplan, so we have an idea of what to expect on the day.

We will also take a series of ‘before’ photos, which will be included in the report supplied at the proposal stage.

The price of your passive fire protection survey will depend on the size of your building and the number of penetrations to be filled.

We’ll submit your proposal.

Once we have collected everything we need from your site visit, we will send you a detailed proposal that includes ‘before’ photos, our proposed scope of work, and a list of all the products we plan to use within the installation.

We’ll complete the works.

Once you have agreed to our works and a PO has been submitted, a dedicated project manager will be assigned to your project, who will create a project plan and share this with you for approval.

We’ll always produce and issue detailed building RAMS, so all our engineers have access to a safe working guide for the project.

Finally, our trained engineers will attend your site at the agreed time to complete the firestop installation or repairs.

We’ll register your firestops.

It’s best practice to record all works for future reference. We will log and register each firestop using Hilti’s Firestop Documentation Manager software.

A QR code label will be positioned next to each respective firestop so you/we can view this information when required.

We’ll issue a comprehensive e-report.

Following the completion of your works, we will provide you with an electronic report so anyone working in or on the building can see what has been done. The document will contain:

• The building location
• Full descriptions of the works – including what has been installed, and where
• ‘Before’ and ‘after’ photographs
